Jane Austen Festival BathThe Jane Austen Festival 13th to 21st September 2013 Various Venues In Bath The annual celebration taking place in September. Celebrating all things Austen in the beautiful Georgian city of Bath. This years Jane Austen Festival takes place at different venues around Bath. There will be a host of events taking place every day to commemorate Jane Austen, Bath's most famous resident. Including Europe's largest Regency Promenade - people will be parading the grand Georgian terraces of Bath in Regency costume accompanied by music and dancing and The Jane Austen Festival Regency Ball.  The Jane Austen Centre in Bath offers a snapshot of life during the Regency period and explores how living in this magnificent city affected Jane Austen’s life and her writing.
