The Royal Crescent is a notable residential terrace of 30 town houses, laid out in a crescent shape. It was designed by the architect John Wood the Younger, built between 1767-1774. It is amongst the greatest examples of Georgian architecture to be found in the UK and is a Grade I listed building.
