The Pulteney Bridge is an ornate stone bridge crossing the River Avon in Bath. Completed in 1773, it was designed by Robert Adam and is one of only four bridges in the world with shops across the full span on both sides. Walking over the Pulteney Bridge from the city centre you will enter Great Pulteney Street.
Taken on the East bank of the River Avon, you can see The Riverside Cafe, Empire Hotel (Brasserie Chez Gerard). Here you can enjoy boat trips from the Pulteney Weir to Bathampton.
